San Juan Puerto Rico’s Coral Princess Hotel

Hello fellow travelers!

 We recently traveled to the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, which is centrally located in the Caribbean sea.  Puerto Rico, which is approximately a 2.5-hour plane ride from Miami, is a commonwealth of the United States where locals speak both Spanish and English.

The island is full of culture, beautiful beaches, kind locals and most of all, AMAZING FOOD!  

During our stay, we were lucky enough to find the lovely Coral Princess Hotel which has been serving guests since the 1930’s!  With its high ceilings and marble floors, you feel like you are staying in a Spanish hacienda.  Due to an incredible experience we wanted to share our experience at  San Juan Puerto Rico’s Coral Princess Hotel with our readers.

The ride from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport to the hotel is about roughly 14 minutes and only runs around 8 dollars via taxi.

Location, Location, Location

The hotel is located in the middle of lovely Condado, which is just across the bridge from old San Juan.  Considered Puerto Rico’s most fashionable area, Cartier, Louis Vuitton, and Ferragamo are just some of the names you will see here.  This upscale metro area is filled to the brim with bodegas, restaurants, and an energetic nightlife.

Places to go and things to see

It only took us 5 minutes to walk from our hotel to the nearest beach but if you are looking for a more iconic beach, a mere 14-minute trek will take you right to the beautiful Playita del Condado.

This little beach has great sunbathing, snorkeling, beautiful wildlife and, of course, delicious ice cream (I personally love the passion fruit flavor).

After a long day at the beach, you can relax by the hotel pool and post pictures of your vacation with complimentary WIFI access.

Or if you would like to play some pool and chill with the family, there is an excellent space for that on the third floor.  You can even get a nice view of the city while you eat.

The hotel itself was clean and the staff was incredibly kind and make you feel right at home.  They are very knowledgeable about the area and will gladly give you itinerary based on the experience you want to have.

Here is a quick walk through from the lobby to the breakfast area (which complementary with your stay)

From check-in to check-out, this hotel provides a wonderful experience.   This is saying a lot when comparing to the more expensive accommodations which often offer fewer amenities at a greater distance from the center of the action.

In conclusion, our stay at San Juan Puerto Rico’s Coral Princess Hotel was incredible and I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in the San Juan/Condado area!  You won’t be disappointed! There is so much to see on this beautiful island and we hope that you get the chance to experience all of it!
