Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) at Magic Kingdom is a great alternative for families who want a fun experience with trick-or-treating, Disney Charters, Disney Fireworks and full access to Disney theme park rides!
What is MNSSHP anyway?
Party goers can experience the happiest haunting on Earth with eerie entertainment, a new fireworks extravaganza, and special Disney character meet-and-greets for children of all ages.
This after-hours party is offered select nights through Nov. 1, 2019, and features all of this fiendish fun:
- A new and exclusive Halloween fireworks extravaganza, “Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular.” Jack Skellington tells a not-so-scary tale about Mickey Mouse and his pals on a Halloween night where anything can happen. Dazzling fireworks, projections and lasers highlight this new spectacular. and exciting event.
- New elements at “Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade” include a new float, characters and more.
- Live entertainment featuring Disney Villains, including the “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” musical stage show.
- Meet-and-greet opportunities with favorite Disney characters throughout the park.
- Need your candy fix? MNSSHP has fun Trick-or-treat candy stops and treat trails to grab all the goodies you want. They also give you a very handy map to find your way.
What makes MNSSHP such a unique experience?
At MNSSHP you can start your day at 4 pm and enter MK theme park! Although the trick or treating doesn’t start until 7 pm, you can get started with the festivities early and ride anything you want. The neat thing is that the tickets are actually a little cheaper than a normal park entry ticket to the park.
Once you get your Disney rides out of the way, you can get started on the Trick-or-Treat trail and start filling your candy bag! Trick-or-treat bags are provided a bag(s) when you get in, but you can also bring your own trick-or-treat bags!
* They also have Allergy friendly options as well! That way no one has to miss out on all the fun!*

MNSSHP brings out your inner spookie-ness without all the scare. Our son loved looking at all the lights and watching the great fireworks! It also makes for a fun girls night or fun date night!

Overall thoughts
Since Halloween is my favorite holiday, I can say that I had a fantastic time! The characters, visuals, costumes and overall environment was inviting and exciting! And let’s not forget the HUGE amounts of candy that you get from the candy stops! I would highly recommend this activity for anyone in the Orlando area to partake in! I also went last year and was so honored to be invited by Disney this year as my little man is 1 ½ now! Disney helps us make magical moments and this tradition is something I will have every year.
