Travel Purse: Baggallini Review (RFID Blocker)

Hello, my fellow travelers!

If you are anything like me, one of the biggest hassles of international travel, or any travel for that matter, has to be: how to pack efficiently and what to bring.  This past year I was on a Jetblue flight from Cuba and I met a wonderful flight attendant.  She said that with all the traveling she does, she always takes a Baggallini  purse with her.  Since she was raving about this product I, of course, had to check it out.   I was able to find this bag at Macy’s for $50 dollars.  Although it was a bit pricey for my taste, I wanted to give it a try.  Plus the bag was Green and it’s my favorite colors 😉

So, what makes this bag better than other travel bags?  Well, it really focuses on comfort, space, and security for your important documents.  Yes, security!  Whether you travel to Thailand or to your local grocery store, your personal information can be jeopardized.  Now instead of pickpocketing, thieves use something called Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) to steal your information just by coming close to you.  Thieves use their phones and/or other devices to steal your credit numbers, passport identifications and personal information.  It can take only seconds and you have no idea it happened to you.  I personally know travelers who were overseas and fell victim to the RFID and they are still recovering from the effects of the identity theft.  Therefore,  since keeping personal information is important, I wanted to give it a try.

Impressions: Loved how big the purse was and spacious for all of the things I need to take with me (even though it looks small).  The bag includes 10 credit card slots, lipstick/pen holder, key fob, and detachable RFID wrist purse.   It also has a 52″ adjustable strap that you can adjust to your comfort.  And, of course, the most important thing…it has LOTS of pockets!  I usually take several things with me including a small first aid kit, flashlight, medication and other important documents, so space is important.  The purse was able to fit everything I needed and then some.

And yes…it ALL fit.

The purse is also water resistant, so if you get caught in the rain you won’t have to worry about your things getting wet inside.  I also found it convenient that the back of the purse has a bottom zipper to convert the back pocket of the purse into a sleeve that you can slide your purse over the handle of your suitcase.

Overall Impressions:  The Baggallini purse is spacious,  easy to organize and reliable for all the things I need to take when I travel.  I also like the safety of the RFID blocker to help keep my data and information secure wherever I travel.  I would highly recommend this purse to travelers who needs a spacious and reliable travel bag.

Do you have a bag you love to travel with?  Let us know!

Thanks for stopping by fellow travelers and until next time, keep on traveling!
